WALKING TOUR: villa Torlonia and via Nomentana

ExploRealRome: you can just look at Rome or.. Explore it!

Rome is not only the city of the 'Colosseum' and 'Fori Imperiali' but also that of Rioni and lesser-known neighborhoods. On Sunday we're going outside the Aurelian walls and visit some marvels along via Nomentana.
It’s not only a Tour.. Your new friends will make the difference!!

Our Tour highlights include:
  • Villa Torlonia, a great example of neocalssical villa with surrouding park, recently restored and reopened after a long period of decay.
  • Santa Agnese complex, an ancient paleochristian basilica with imposing ruins, a beautiful mausoleum and the "new" (the so-called new) basilica of St.Agnes
  • Santa Costanza, one of the jewels of the Roman architecture in the passage from pagan to christian age
This tour will take place in English and will last approximately 2 hours.
How much will it cost? 10 euros
Who will be the Tour guide? Silvia Prosperi
And what about after the Tour? Enjoy the best brownies in Rome and drinks at the end
