summer in Rome

Hi!I'm a student from Romania,I'm thinking about spending my summer holliday before starting University in Rome.There are a lot of things I enjoy about this city,as I consider it an open-air museum,and I wish I could experience the italian lifestyle more.My plan is to stay there two months,finding a flat mate or a place to stay and eventually a part-time job to make up for some of my expenses. I guess there are quite some jobs for students there,especially in summer;I'm an educated,well-behaved guy,I get on well with almost everybody,I can speak English quite well and I also took up some Italian classes,but more as a hobby. My question is how likely is this to happen, and do have any pieces of advice for me?Thanks!
