Bar work Rome.

Ciao a tutti, I'm coming to Rome in January for a month and I might stay longer if I find some work. Can anyone tell me about bar/pub work in Rome? I work as a bar tend in a pub in London and thought I might be able to do similar work when I'm travelling. Any information, ideas, or tips about what it's like in Rome? I.e how do you go about it? In England you would just walk into a pub with a c.v, is that acceptable in Italy? Cheers, Nate.
