Hi I have booked to be in Rome for 31st May - 3rd June travelling with girlfriends but everyones plans have all changed and I am now going to be seeing Rome alone. Husband and daughter unable to join me at short notice and worried (unnecessarily!) about me. Any suggestions for a 60 year young woman as to how best to 'do' Rome on a budget; I have NO problems planning Rome without a budget!! Any like minded person fancy meeting and seeing some of the sites and overdosing on pasta and pizza? I don't speak Italian but can get by in French and German and of course a little English...
