Expat who is a retired IT Consultant from the Washington, DC area living with his dual citizen wife in Tuscany since 2007. We live out in the country-side and we have to drive to our nearest town of 8,500 people. We are seeking places to go to in Roma where the locals go to eat, drink and enjoy themselves. We will be coming to Roma for 2 1/2 weeks to dog, cat and apartment sit over the Christmas and New Year holidays. We hope to meet people who are living in Italy for whatever reason and we want to meet other people from wherever on the planet. So far, we have enjoyed our time in Italy but it can be challenging. But I have also lived and worked in Germany and Kuwait. My wife taught in a hospitality management program before coming to Italy, has been involved in event management and catering besides other accomplishments. We look forward to meeting some of you in Roma and hopefully you can visit us in Tuscany.
