Rome is not only the city of the 'Colosseum' and 'Fori Imperiali' but also that of small Rioni and lesser-known neighborhoods. On Sunday we're going to visit the
Borgo district (the XIV 'rione' of Rome). It’s not only a Tour.. Your new friends will make the difference!!Our
Tour highlights include:
- Castel Sant'Angelo: from the mausoleum to the fortress, the
monument which marked the history of Rome in every age (only from outside)
- Ospedale Santo Spirito: the most ancient in Italy (only from outside)
- Via della Conciliazione: celebrative of the Lateran Pacts of '29
- Passetto di Borgo: old escape route to the castle of the Popes
- Borgo Pio: a glimpse of the Renaissance in modern roads
- Basilica di San Pietro: the symbolic 'Mother church' of the Catholic Church
